Note: For these programs to work properly, your memory must be formatted as FAT32 or NTFS. If neither is the case then you just have to copy its content to your computer, reformat the memory card as FAT32 and then copy back the files on the memory card and then continue the process.

If the files were on your internal storage then you have three ways to do this for different versions of Android OS.
- For Android 4.2 or newer: Go to Settings >>About Phone >> Developer Options.. Tap the ‘Developer Options’ tab multiple times until you get the message ‘Yor are under developer mode’. You can then go back to Settings >> Developer Options >> USB Debugging.
- For Android 3.0 to 4.1: Settings >> Developer options >> USB Debugging.
- For Android 2.3 or earlier: Settings >> Applications >> Development >> USB Debugging.
